This is a great and fast-growing museum with a friendly, welcoming staff. If you like real trains, the museum has the largest collection of historic narrow gauge equipment in the southeast, including one of the nation's oldest boxcars. If you like model trains, enjoy not 1 but FOUR layouts (O, HO, N). Throw in memorabilia displays, some stunning historic photographs, and a nice green, shaded picnic area, and you can see this museum unfolding before your eyes. Beware though, they will recruit you to volunteer, and the folks there are so friendly, you just might want to do it.

Super operation with the largest narrow gauge collection in the southeast. Everything from model railroads to the real thing. Highly recommend.

I hope you have success with the restoration of #50. I enjoyed playing on this locomotive 1975-1978.

Great place to have a children's birthday party or an event. The kids love the train stuff
