When hospice got her to their facility her butt was completely raw from not being changed. Your nurses let her sit in her filth.
I am a family member of one of your past residents. I wanted to bring it to your attention the way that she was treated.
At the end of her stay she was neglected. When hospice called to make the arrangements to come and get her the nurse told them that she was "fine", they told hospice she was up and walking around. It took two days of her daughter calling to get hospice to come and get her. This is unacceptable, she had alts timers and was completely non responsive.
Also, hospice syringed water into her mouth and she acted like she hadn't drank anything in several days, hospice told us she was very dehydrated. I was told by another family member that the nurses would just hold a glass of water with a straw up to her mouth and if she didn't drink then they would go on to another patient.
I'm disgusted by all of this. I hope you will talk with the staff and make some changes.
She fell numerous times and was left there to lay in the bathroom floor for several hours because the nurse didn't put her doctor ordered monitor on her. This happened several times.
I just recently found this out and that is why I didn't come personally when she was living there.
My mother was there from mid July to end of November. Horrible experience
